• A yearly membership fee of $37 is required for all active students.
• Membership helps support:
  • Skill tracking
  • Awards and certificates
  • Program materials
  • Facility improvements
  • Special themes and activities
• Membership fees are non-refundable.

• Enrollment is completed once payment and all required forms are submitted.
• Class availability is limited and spots are reserved upon registration.
• Some events and trial classes may not require membership.

For student safety, all students are expected to arrive on time and participate in warm-ups.

• Students arriving after warm-ups may not be permitted to join class.
• Late arrivals may qualify for a make-up class when eligible.

• Parents/guardians are responsible for students before class begins.
• Coaches assume supervision once students enter the practice area.
• Responsibility returns to parents immediately after class dismissal.

Please arrive on time for pick-up.

• A 5-minute grace period is provided.
• After 5 minutes, the following late pick-up fees apply:
  • $5 base fee
  • Plus $1 per additional minute
• Fees may be charged to the card on file.

Students should be able to:

• Locate their class independently
• Follow directions appropriately
• Communicate with staff when needed

Younger or newer students should be escorted to class.

• Students may receive 1 make-up class every 8 weeks for personal absences.
• Make-up classes:
  • Must be scheduled through the office
  • Cannot be scheduled before the missed class
  • Must be completed within 3 weeks of the absence
• Missed make-up classes are forfeited.
• Make-up classes cannot be exchanged for tuition credit or refunds.

 For safety and comfort during class:

• Leotard or athletic fitted attire

• Athletic shorts or pants
• Fitted athletic shirt

• Hair must be securely tied back
• Students participate barefoot unless instructed otherwise
• Jewelry, watches, and loose accessories are not permitted
• Gum is not allowed during class

Stars Gymnastics is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.

 Safety is our highest priority.

To help us maintain a safe environment:

• Students may only use equipment under coach supervision
• Running in non-designated areas is not permitted
• Students must remain with their class group
• Food and drinks are not permitted on equipment areas
• Families should follow all staff instructions regarding safety procedures

 For parent participation programs:

• One participating adult is allowed on the gym floor per student
• Siblings and non-participating children may not use equipment
• Parents should remain attentive to their child at all times
• Cell phone use is not permitted while participating on the floor
• Families must remain with the assigned class and stations
• Diapers must be changed only in designated restroom areas

• Tuition reserves your student’s spot in class.
• Tuition may be paid in full or through available payment plans.
• Families are responsible for completing agreed payment schedules.

• Withdrawal requests should be submitted before the next billing/payment cycle.
• Tuition already used is non-refundable.
• Approved cancellations may qualify for account credit.

• Events may qualify for account credit when cancellation is requested at least 2 business days in advance.
• Late cancellations and no-shows may result in forfeited fees.

• Declined or invalid payments may incur a processing fee.
• Students may temporarily lose their reserved class spot until balances are resolved.

• Follow gym policies and safety instructions
• Support positive sportsmanship and behavior

Stars Gymnastics reserves the right to refuse service or discontinue enrollment when behavior becomes unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful.

At Stars Gymnastics, safety and quality instruction are always our top priorities. This policy is intended to help every student have a safe, fun, structured, and productive class experience.

In order for classes to run successfully, students must be able to follow directions, stay with their group, wait for their turn, listen to their coach, and participate safely.

Over the years, we have noticed that more children are having difficulty with basic class expectations, including following directions, standing in line, waiting for their turn, staying focused, and participating appropriately during class.

To help our students have a more successful experience, Stars Gymnastics has reduced many class sizes from 10 students to 6 students. Even with smaller class sizes, coaches are still spending a significant amount of class time redirecting students who are distracted, leaving their line or assigned area, talking excessively, playing during instruction, or not following directions.

When class time is spent repeatedly redirecting students, it takes away from the learning experience of the entire group and may create safety concerns.

All students are expected to:

Listen to their coach.

Follow directions.

Stay with their group.

Wait for their turn.

Keep their hands to themselves.

Participate safely and respectfully.

Try their best.

These expectations are important not only in gymnastics, but also at school, in other activities, in sports, and in everyday life.

Stars Gymnastics understands that preschool-age children are still learning how to listen, wait, follow directions, stay with a group, and participate in a structured class setting.

Coaches will use age-appropriate class management tools, reminders, redirection, encouragement, and positive reinforcement to help preschool-age students be successful.

Preschool-age students may receive more reminders, patience, and support when the behavior is age-appropriate and does not create a safety concern. However, safety must always come first.

If a preschool-age student is running away from the group, leaving the class area, not following safety instructions, disrupting the class, or preventing the coach from teaching, parent support may be required.

School-age students are expected to demonstrate a higher level of responsibility during class.

Students in school-age classes are expected to listen to their coach, follow directions, wait their turn, stay with their group, and participate respectfully. Coaches will provide reminders and redirection when appropriate, but repeated disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from class.

Stars Gymnastics coaches are trained in class management, and we continue to provide our coaches with tools, strategies, and support. However, parent support is also necessary.

Parents are expected to help reinforce class expectations before class begins. Please remind your child that they are expected to listen, follow directions, stay with their group, wait their turn, keep their hands to themselves, and participate respectfully.

Disruptive or unsafe behavior may include, but is not limited to:

Leaving the class area.

Leaving the line or assigned station.

Running away from the group.

Talking excessively during instruction.

Playing during instruction instead of participating.

Distracting other students.

Refusing to follow directions.

Not following safety instructions.

Preventing the coach from teaching the class.

Stars Gymnastics coaches will implement the following gentle but firm discipline procedure when a student is being disruptive, unsafe, or unable to follow directions during class.

First Removal from Class

If a student is being disruptive, unsafe, or unable to follow directions, the student may be asked to take a 5-minute break with their parent.

After the short break, the student will be invited back to class to try again.

Second Removal from Class

If the same student needs to be sent to their parent a second time during the same class, the student will be done for the day and will not return to class that day.

There will be no make-up class, credit, refund, or reimbursement for the missed class time.

This policy is not meant to embarrass or punish children. It is meant to keep all students safe, allow coaches to teach effectively, and ensure that every child in class has the opportunity to learn, participate, and enjoy a productive gymnastics experience.

When coaches and parents work together, children have a much better chance of being successful, safe, and confident in the gym.
