Stars Gymnastics Legal Terms & Waiver

 PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

Participation in gymnastics, tumbling, ninja, trampoline, camps, clinics, open gym, fitness classes, and related athletic activities involves inherent risks.

By registering or participating in any Stars Gymnastics program, the participant and/or parent/guardian acknowledges and agrees to the following terms.

 I understand and acknowledge that participation in gymnastics and related athletic activities involves risks including, but not limited to:

• Falls
• Collisions
• Sprains and fractures
• Head or spinal injuries
• Paralysis
• Serious injury
• Death

I voluntarily accept and assume all risks associated with participation at Stars Gymnastics.

I understand these risks may arise from:

• Use of gymnastics equipment
• Trampoline activities
• Tumbling
• Physical exertion
• Movement involving height, flipping, inversion, rotation, or impact
• Participation in camps, events, competitions, and transportation related to programs

I certify that the participant is physically capable of participating in gymnastics and related activities.

I understand it is my responsibility to consult with a physician regarding participation if necessary.

I agree to inform Stars Gymnastics of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, disabilities, or special accommodations that may affect participation.

In the event of an accident or medical emergency, I authorize Stars Gymnastics staff, representatives, coaches, employees, contractors, or volunteers to:

• Administer basic first aid
• Contact emergency medical personnel
• Arrange transportation for medical treatment when deemed necessary

I understand that I am financially responsible for all medical expenses incurred.

 To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Stars Gymnastics LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, coaches, volunteers, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, or losses arising from participation in any program or activity.

This release includes ordinary negligence but does not apply to gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

 Parents, guardians, and volunteers entering the gym or practice area understand that participation and presence in athletic areas also involve risk of injury.

Any adult entering activity areas does so voluntarily and assumes all associated risks.

I grant Stars Gymnastics permission to use photographs and video recordings of participants for:

• Social media
• Advertising
• Website content
• Promotional materials
• Training and educational purposes

No compensation will be provided for such use.

Families wishing to opt out of media use must notify Stars Gymnastics in writing.

 By registering for classes or events, I acknowledge and agree:

• Tuition and fees are subject to posted policies
• Payment plans must be completed according to schedule
• Declined payments may incur additional processing fees
• Tuition and event fees may be non-refundable according to cancellation policies

Families who opt into text messaging consent to receive:

• Schedule reminders
• Account notifications
• Event announcements
• Promotional messages

• I have read and understood these terms
